What is a chequebook? How to use it ? ...
Your chequebook or cheque book, comes in the form of a book containing 40 blank cheques, in two formats (traditional or portfolio). Carefully enter on the stub the details of the payment that you have just made (date, amount and beneficiary), so that you can keep track of your account.
Enter the amount in figures, with a comma and cents, even if it is a round number (for example: 123.45 euros or even 100.00 euros). Fill in the name of the beneficiary or make sure that he/she completes it in front of you. Enter the date and the place of issue and then sign your cheque.
This means of payment can be used to settle a medical consultation, a telephone subscription etc.
